This song is really old, I have written it when I was 16 years! But the melody is so beautiful that I kept coming back to it and decided to record it. I especially love the acoustic version with just the piano and voice, because it really underlines the vulnerability of the situation that the girl finds herself in.
Track 3 - Rainy day Track 3 - Rainy day
This was the very first song we recorded in the studio (in fact, my first time ever in a studio!), so it had all the novelty for me and I was totally amazed by what a professional production can do to an arrangement. It’s still the favourite among my friends, probably because everyone can relate to the lyrics!
Track 4 - Promise me Track 4 - Promise me
This is my latest song, and one of my favourite songs as well because it has a lot of emotion. I didn’t want to sing about heartaches on my album but for this song I made an exception. I have written it as a piano ballad and it sounds great as acoustic version as well!
Track 5 - It's going to be alright Track 5 - It's going to be alright
This is a special song to me, I took nearly half a year to finish it until it was the way I imagined it! It’s a very positive and encouraging song and just makes me feel good when I listen to it. I chose this song as the theme for the album, and that is what inspired the title “Bright Outlook”.
Track 6 - Stronger Track 6 - Stronger
This song has a touch of rock in it, I wanted an arrangement that really underlines the strength of the song. It’s about a woman coming out of an unbalanced relationship, but growing from the experience so she can finally turn her back to it and move on.
Track 7 - Puppet Track 7 - Puppet
This is a cover and the song is originally from a German movie soundtrack. I have always loved the song and its moodiness, although the original version is darker and rockier. I added a touch of jazz and it has made the song very different, I think it turned out great!

This is one of my earlier songs. When I wrote it I was thinking of an intimate jazz bar with piano in the corner.. I love the lyrics of the song because they are playful and slightly cheeky.

The song sounded very different at first, I had an acoustic version with guitar in mind.. but when the producer put the beats on I loved it so much that we kept the version!
